Meet Elizabeth Sanjuan. Dental hygienist, dog mom, and our incredible Equip Group Leader in Lewisville! They meet every 3rd Thursday at 7pm—join us this week!

Elizabeth M. Sanjuan was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She currently resides in The Colony about 30 minutes north from the heart of Dallas. She is a dental hygienist in the DFW area loves having the opportunity to serve and meet new people every day. She also enjoys volunteering for non-profit organizations in Texas including the Texas Mission of Mercy, a ministry that provides free dental treatment for low-income individuals and families. When she isn’t working or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her family and 3 adorable "fur babies” named Mega and Mystic (Rotties) and Niki (their chihuahua who thinks she's a Rottie). "I have been attending Equipped By Faith for a little over a year now. I initially just wanted to give it a try because I had been praying to join a women's group for about a month but I wasn't sure if it was going to be a place for me. In 2018, at an all-staff meeting with my employer, Sabrina Harrison mentioned the Equipped by Faith group for women. I followed up with the information and I was able to attend my first EBF in January 2019. I was blown away by how sweet and kind the girls were when they greeted me and even throughout the night. I did not feel out of place and everyone made me feel right at home. Just watching everyone smile and open their arms to welcome me was an incredible experience because I was clearly a stranger to everyone.

I have learned how God works miracles in every person through Equipped by Faith. It was here that I was able to get my first NKJ Bible and dive into God's love letter to us for the first time. I have experienced several different seasons with EBF and I want to share what I’ve learned with other women. I want to help women to get equipped with God's Word and learn how to implement it into their lives. I want to be part of something bigger than myself and to pour into others—because as we pour into others, then they can pour into the next. I want to plant God's seed and watch them bloom. 

I serve with Equipped by Faith to pour hope and encouragement into women who have a desire to be discipled. I aspire to pursue God's purpose for me and to inspire every person I encounter along the way. That’s why I have opened up the doors of my home as an Equip Group Leader!”
