Healing Today

healing |ˈhēliNG| noun the process of making or becoming sound or healthy again: the gift of healing.

Throughout the Bible, God displays His divine power through the act of miraculous healing. The gospels are filled with stories of Jesus healing the sick, making blind eyes see, and completely restoring health to those who were diseased all of their lives.

"Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness." Matthew 9:35

Before ascending to heaven, Jesus told the disciples that they would do even greater things than He had, through the power of His spirit within them.

"Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." John 14:12

It is because of God's promise that we can stand and believe for complete healing and restoration for our loved ones. As followers of Christ, we too have the authority to pray and believe for miraculous healings–today! I have been a witness to this power in the lives of my family members, myself and in the lives of the friends who attend my monthly Equipped by Faith gathering. I believe in the power of prayer, and in the power of healing in Jesus' name!

I know it can be discouraging to believe in miracles for some who have prayed for something and didn't see anything happen. I have prayed hard for certain things for myself and others and sometimes those things just don't turn out the way I had hoped they would. I have watched friends pass away from certain types of cancer, with faith-filled believers praying and believing for complete healing up until the very end.

When we don't get the answers we are hoping for, oftentimes we can question our faith and hope in God and we can become discouraged.

Though we may not understand unanswered prayers, I’ve also witnessed God's healing and provision more times than I can count. I don't know why God doesn't always answer our prayers the way we wish he would. But one thing I know I can stand on, is that God is always with us. He gives us supernatural peace and hope in our weakest moments. Through every trial, He is alongside us giving us the courage and faith to overcome.

I'm praying for you today, for whatever need you may have. Praying, more than anything, that you would put complete faith and trust in your Heavenly Father to take care of you and your needs–today, and always! He cares more for you than you could ever possibly know or imagine.

If you have a specific prayer need, please share it with us here. Our team prays over every single request we receive, and we believe, wholeheartedly, that our God is faithful!

XO-
