Welcome to Equipped by Faith

equip |əˈkwip| verb (equips, equipping, equipped) [with object] supply with the necessary items for a particular purpose • prepare (someone) mentally for a particular situation or task.

Equipped by Faith Ministries was founded in 2014 when I felt a calling from God to bridge the gap between the church and the marketplace. I wanted to create a space where people of all cultures, backgrounds, and religions could come to experience community through real stories of triumph, victory, and encouragement in daily life. 

I had no idea where to start, so I invited a few of my closest girlfriends to join me for a Bible study, meeting together monthly in my living room. Since then, our group has grown into a community of faith-filled, encouraging women who are seeking God with all of their hearts, on a mission to fulfill their God-given purpose and destiny here on the earth.

My dream for this ministry is to help as many women as possible achieve the dreams and visions that God has placed inside of them. I have learned the value, power, and freedom that comes when women authentically and openly share their hopes, dreams, disappointments, and struggles. 

Each month, we laugh and cry together as we discuss the matters of our hearts. Life is hard. It's not ever perfect, and we don't need to pretend that it is. It is my hope and desire to create an atmosphere of transparency, authenticity, and genuine love and acceptance so that we can join one another on the journey. 

We are not a "church" by definition, though we are a beautiful depiction of what I believe God wants the church to be. 

I love how our group is so diverse. We have a beautiful array of cultures, religions, young, old, and in-between. All women, with a passion to pursue a real relationship with God and with others. You can't classify or categorize a group like this, and I love that! 

Equipped by Faith is a community that will believe in you, encourage you, push you forward, stir up greatness within you, challenge you, equip you, and cheer you on to the finish line. 

I want to invite you to step out of your comfort zone and join us as we celebrate one another through prayer, healing, and encouragement. It is my greatest desire that EBF would be an integral part of your journey as you grow in your personal relationship with God. I pray it will become a catalyst for your purpose and destiny, and that you would find true community and fellowship through these gatherings.

What may seem impossible for one to do alone can be easily attained through a combined effort. I know that God has a specific calling on your life and I can't wait to discover what that is, with you!
